Unity Church Announcements

Transfer of Membership

The Council of Unity joyfully accepts the membership transfers of the Darrel and Carol Frikke from Willmar CRC, Jason Dannen from Willmar CRC and Rich and Sarah Jouwstra from Bethany Reformed in Clara City.  We welcome your fellowship among us and pray that God will both bless you and use you for His Kingdom work here at Unity.

The council also approved the transfer of Josue Aviles' membership to Bethany Reformed Church of Clara City. We wish the Lord's blessing on his fellowship there and pray that he may be encouraged in his walk with Christ.

Infant Baptism

Next week, Lord willing, we will be celebrating God's sign and seal in baptism to Ella Faith Brouwer, infant daughter of Dave & Laura.

Prayer Ministry

At the conclusion of our worship time each week people will be available to pray with you about any item of concern to you.

SNL (Sunday Night Live)

You are invited to join us every Sunday night, 7:30pm at the Rock on 8th  in Willmar (1708 8th Street to the left of Willmar CRC) for Sunday Night Live! Come Worship, pray, hear a short message and hang out with friends. SNL is a student Lead worship and a great opportunity to fellowship with other believers! "Kids" of all ages are welcome! Bring your friends.

Wedding Congratulations

Congratulations to Tyler & Jill (DeGroot) Anderson, who were married in our church yesterday. May God richly bless your marriage as you begin this new journey together.

Accepting Nominations for Council

The council is now accepting nominations for the roles of Service Deacon and Shepherding Elder.  A letter regarding these nominations as well as a description of each of the areas of service are in your mailboxes today for your review and consideration.  Please have nominations in to Phil Erffmeyer, Administrator, or one of the members of the Administrative Team (Larry Groen, Wendy Ulferts, or Ben Taatjes) by next Sunday, February 22, 2009.  Thank you.

Solid Rock Youth Group Fundraiser!

Solid Rock Youth are raising funds by selling Herberger's coupon packets for their Community Day Sale on Feb 28.  For just $5 you receive a $10 coupon and four 20% off coupons towards merchandise in the home and department stores. Please contact one of the youth or the church office if you are interested.  All proceeds of the sale packages benefit the youth group!  Thanks for your support!

Mark Your Calendar

~ The Prinsburg Cadets will be observing Cadet Sunday at the evening service tonight at First Church. Please have your boys there by 5:10pm in their uniforms.

~ Reminder Ash Wednesday Service will be held on February 25th at Unity at 7:00pm.

~ Senior Citizens: We will meet on Thursday, February 19th, at 1:00pm. Come to the Prinsburg Community Center for an afternoon of lunch, games and fun!

CMCS Pre-K Round-up

Are you looking for a Christian learning environment for your pre-school aged child? Come with your child to the Pre-K Round-up at Central Minnesota Christian School in Prinsburg, Friday, March 13.  The evening will begin at 6:30 PM with tours of the elementary school and a time to meet the Pre-K teacher, Mrs. Van Otterloo.  The Parents' presentation will follow in the elementary library.  During this informational time, child care will be provided for your pre-school aged children in the Pre-K room. Host & Hostess Supper

Central Minnesota Christian School's Host & Hostess Supper is fast approaching. It is scheduled for April 17 at 7:00 PM. Focus on Your Marriage Conference

Plan to attend a high quality simulcast event presented by Focus on the Family featuring great speakers like Beth Moore, Dr. Gary Smalley, Dr. Del Tackett from the Truth Project, music by Jeremy Camp, and more.  It is appropriate for every marriage, new or old, helping us to see our relationships through the eyes of God.  The event will be held at Bunde Christian Reformed Church near Clara City on Saturday, February 28 from 8:30am-3:30pm.  Call Kay at Bunde CRC to sign up by February 21 for $75.00/couple (all prices include a nice meal).  Scholarships are available.

WCCS Movie Night!
