Welcome to Unity Church!

Thank you for joining us today as we worship Jesus Christ together. It is our desire that you have an authentic encounter with God, experiencing his power and presence. Our journey through the Old Testament continues as we again see God’s goodness and faithfulness shown to his people.

Old Testament Challenge

Pastors Jeff & Wendy will be out of town for the weekend. They left for Wisconsin on Thursday night to spend time with Wendy’s family there. They will be back on Monday.

UNITY FAMILY CARES AND CONCERNS

New Bulletin Deadline Beginning next week, we plan to print the bulletin on Thursdays. Please have all announcements to the office no later than Wednesday evening. You can leave them on the desk, on the church voicemail, or email them to Unity Church.

Farewell Bonfire for the Troyers
Gene and Louise Troyer have moved, but plan to be back in Prinsburg the weekend of Oct. 15 & 16. A farewell bonfire is being planned at Willy and Linda Brouwer’s farm that Saturday, beginning at 6:00 pm. Everyone is invited for a time of food, fellowship, and visiting with the Troyers. Please bring lawn chairs and hot dog sticks. An RSVP to the Brouwers is helpful, but not required.

Abuse Prevention Training
If you are working with kids at Unity Church, and you did not attend Wednesday night’s meeting, you must attend the meeting TODAY at 3:30pm. If you are unavailable, please contact a member of the APT.

MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES AT UNITY

GEMS BBQ Supper
Tuesday, October 4 GEMS will serve BBQ, beans, chips, bars and a beverage. Stop by the First CRC basement before the volleyball and soccer games at Central Minnesota Christian School or any time between 5pm and 7pm for a bite to eat!

Unity Childcare Substitute Position Available
We need someone who loves to work with children and is available for a couple hours per week. The person needs to be certified in child CPR. If you are not certified but are willing to go through the training to get certified, please contact Unity Childcare at 978-9138 to set up an interview.

Library Team Meeting
Let’s get together to work on the library, Tuesday, October 4 from 10:30am - 1:00pm.

GEMS Reminder
We will be collecting food for the food shelf Wednesday, October 5.

Ladies Bible Study
If you are interested in being part of a ladies’ morning Bible Study please meet in the sanctuary after the morning service next week to discuss the possibilities.
