Unity Church Announcements
Prayer Ministry
At the conclusion of our worship time each week people will be available to pray with you about any item of concern to you.
Out of the Office
Pastor Jeff and Wendy will be leaving this Friday to celebrate the holidays with both their families. Jeff will be back on Monday, December 8.
Building Update
The structure for the roof is now up! The goal over the next few weeks is to put up the interior wood ceiling and the electrical work that goes in it, and finish the roofing. As long as the weather cooperates with us, we plan to have an update and "walk-through" on December 14 after the morning worship service. We will also provide more detail about how the volunteer labor will work after the first of the year. Our targeted completion date is still mid-April. We remind you that the small lot on the west side (by the kitchen) should not be used during the week and on Sundays, should be left available (as well as the spots closest to the door in the main lot) for those who have difficulty walking. We thank you for your support and cooperation during this time of construction.
Continued Prayers
Tony Negen remains active on the liver & Kidney transplant list at Mayo. He is adjusting to dialysis well. You are invited to visit with him for any length of time during his 4-hour dialysis every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2-6pm. Coffee is on and free at the Rice Hospital Dialysis unit downstairs.
Thank you!
We would like to say thank you so much for all the cards and prayers in the loss of Sandy's dad and the kids grandfather. Chuck & Sandy Leininger & family
To all the saints at Unity CRC:
Thank you so much for letting us come and share in a time of worship with you. Your hospitality and fellowship was such a great blessing... and a wonderful way to start our fall tour. Thank you again.

Council Request
The Council and the staff study team request that you provide us with your feedback, both positive and negative, regarding the concept of replacing Pastor Jeff with an Administrator of Church Life position. You may give your comments to any Council member, go onto the website to submit your comments, or email the Council directly at council@unitycrc.org. We need your input in discerning what is best for Unity Church at this time.
Christmas Caroling!
The Fellowship Committee is planning a night of caroling on December 14th. We will be caroling at a Willmar nursing home and afterward going to the Rock on Eighth for refreshments. Please bring a snack to share. Sign up by December 7th on the sheet by the mailboxes.
Angel Tree
Here is another early reminder that Christmas is coming. We have received our Angle Tree names from Prison Fellowship. If you are willing to buy gifts for the child of a parent who is spending this Christmas in a Minnesota State Correctional Facility, please contact Marly or Kerry Breems. This has been a very meaningful and encouraging ministry to some hurting children in past years and is certain to
be again.

Nepali Hand-Crafted Jewelry Open-House
The "store is open" at Willmar CRC on Saturday, December 13th from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. This jewelry is made by women in Nepal as part of a micro-enterprise ministry to underprivileged women in Nepal called Higher Ground Crafts (HGC). All the proceeds from this sale go to HGC. This ministry was started by Bimala Pokharel, a Nepali national who received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Calvin College and Seminary, and then returned to Nepal to develop this and other micro-enterprise ministries. Her hope is to work towards alleviating poverty and hopelessness in Nepal by sharing God's truth and love, by providing education, and by increasing employment. The vision of HGC is to teach women job skills, show a way to make a living in a dignified way, and to help start-ups of other businesses. For further information please contact Amy DeVries or Christina Vander Pol.
