Scripture Reading: Isaiah 54:7-13
Message: “The Promise of Shalom” (Pastor Jeff)
Lead Worshiper: Bryan De Groot

“Give credit to the LORD for glory and strength. Give credit to the LORD for the glory due his name. Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness… The LORD gives strength to his people. The LORD blesses his people with peace” (Psalm 29). Our prayer is that you would be blessed this day with the true peace that comes from the LORD. He is worthy of our worship, because of his glory, his holiness, and his splendor.

Thanksgiving Service

Join us this Wednesday night at 7:00pm as we give thanks to God for all that he has done for us. We will offer our gratitude to God through prayer, song, hearing from his Word, and by celebrating the Lord’s Supper together.

St. Cloud Prison Service

We are grateful to the team of people who have traveled up to St. Cloud this morning to lead worship among the prisoners at the penitentiary facility. May the Lord shower them with his blessing as they minister there today.

Christmas Cookie Exchange

You do not want to miss out on this. What a great way to get a bunch of different Christmas cookies and not have to bake them all. Sign up today on the sign up sheets in the fellowship hall on the information table. The Christmas cookie exchange will take place on Saturday December 15th, possibly during the Christmas program practice. If you have any questions please contact Donna Elliot or Betty Ammermann. More details to come.

Christmas Program

This year we will be doing a Christmas program with all the Sunday school children. Please check the bulletin for practice schedules and any other announcements. The program will be on Sunday, December 16th at 4:00pm. If any one has any questions or would like to help in anyway please contact Heather Ruplinger or Natalie Vander Beek.

Angel Tree

Do you want to brighten the Christmas for a child with a parent in prison? We have again received from Prison Fellowship, the names of children living in our ares with parents in prison over Christmas. If you are willing to buy gifts for any of these children, contact Marly or Kerry Breems.

Thank You

Sincere thanks for the many ways in which you’ve remembered us since the death of Beth’s mom. We ask for continued prayers as her dad is moved from the hospital to the nursing home following his stroke. We feel so blessed to belong to the family of God. Gar & Beth Jasper
