Morning Worship Celebration

Scripture Passage: 1 Corinthians 1: 18-31

Message: Boasting Privileges (Pastor Steve Zwart)

Lead Worshipper: Bryan De Groot

Offering: Unity Ministries

Prayer Ministry: (available at the end of worship)

Welcome to Unity!

Welcome to Unity Church this morning.  We are delighted that you have joined us for worship.  We gather together for the one purpose of worshipping Jesus Christ, the living God and Savior of the world.  Our desire is that you would be blessed by the sense of God's presence and the fellowship of God's people.

We're just getting warmed up!"  Many of you noticed a chill in the air during our first service in the new sanctuary.  Well, turns out our thermostat in the sanctuary was faulty and our air unit outside insisted on keeping the air temp at 60.  We apologize for the chilly temps and are confident things will be better this week with our new thermostat.  Speaking of the thermostat, we have a very complex thermostat with our new complex air system in the building.  Please DO NOT attempt to adjust any thermostat in the building!  All units have been programmed and the staff has gone through training to run them.  Please contact our custodians, Jason & Laura Dannen, or a member of our staff or our administrator if you need the air adjusted in any room or have a concern about the air temp.  We will do our best to respond to the needs as they arise!  Thank you!

Unity Church Announcements

Baby Congratulations: Congratulations to Aaron & Tracey in the birth of a healthy baby boy, Tucker. He weighed in at 8lbs 5oz and was 20 inches long.

Hello Unity Members: To All the Members of my Unity Christian Church ~ First and foremost let me start by expressing my extreme thankfulness to each and everyone of you for coming together for me in my time of complete disparity. You all have been nothing less then a blessing for my family and me since the moment I found my way to your loving church. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the wonderful things you have bestowed upon me and have made possible for me. I am finally home with my family that I have been estranged from for longer then I actually care to remember. I owe my solace and peace of mind to all you wonderful people and for that you will always be "my family". I am delighted to say that I finally feel that peace I've been searching for, here at home. I'm able to be the grandmother my grandchildren missed and the mother my own children need. I have found my footing and I know this wouldn't have been possible with out the Lord and all you wonderful people who believed in me. You can expect updates on my life here at the home regularly, despite the fact that I'm not there with you all any longer my heart will always be. Once again Thank you from my family and I. Words do not do justice for the love and thankfulness I feel. Your loving sister, Martha

Thank you: Dear Unity CRC, Thank you once again for letting us come be a part of the ministry God is doing in your fellowship. We hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did. Love in Christ, CTI 14:22
