This morning we celebrate the sign and seal of God through baptism on Jacob Nathaniel Ver Steeg, infant son of  Jason & Melissa. We thank God for His continued faithfulness through the generations!

Disciples Continues… We are continuing our study of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.  For this third session of the Disciples series, our focus for three more weeks is on the truth that those who follow Jesus are a new creation through the work of the Holy Spirit.

Remember in Prayer

Please remember in prayer Bud & Jan Bonnema and their daughter &  Son-in-law, Sarah & Bryce Bakker. They left this past Friday for Cambodia to continue to assist the Cambodians in establishing care for orphans and widows in their communities. They plan to return the first week in February.

Cross-Generational  Ministry!

Do you want to share your faith journey with our youth?  In the past we have had congregation members tell of life stories that pointed them to Jesus. Our youth really enjoyed having an older member come and honestly share with them.  Many of you have had beautiful “God experiences” in your lives and we’d love to hear them.  If you think you may be interested in doing this please contact Kirk at 905-2770 or by email at kirkvanderpol@gmail.com. And remember, when I say “older” our youth pretty much think of anyone my age and up, so don’t think you have to be over 65 to do this.

7th - 12th Grade Girls ONLY!

SRYG is co-hosting a daylong conference for girls via simulcast on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Bunde CRC. Check out www.girlsofgrace.com or one of the posters at church, school, or the Rock for more information. Tickets are $10 now or $15 at the door.  Talk with one of the youth leaders to purchase tickets or if you have any questions.

 Want to participate in local ministry?

Solid Rock Y.G. has a signup sheet for providing snacks for our Wednesday evening meetings.  We’d love it if you’d like to participate in youth ministry in this vary hands on way.  You could leave the snacks at church the Sunday prior (please just let one of the youth workers know) or drop them at the Rock before 7p.m. on Wednesday evenings.  Once the sheet is full, you’ll no longer have the opportunity to serve in this way, so please sign up right away.

 Gospel Class Resumes

We will return to our study of Reformed Theology on Thursday, January 31 at 7:00pm or Sunday, February 3 at 8:45am.  You are always invited to be a part of our discussions, even if you aren’t able to make it every time.

Communication Forums at Unity

The next forum will be February 10 and we plan to offer a few more in March, April, and May. You are strongly encouraged to join us in each of the forums, since we will have updated information at each meeting.

The Raymond Cadets will be hosting their Annual Pancake supper on Wednesday, January 30th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Raymond CRC. There will be a free-will donation that evening.

Come and enjoy 4 kinds of soup, meat and cheese, crackers, dessert, and beverage. Free-will donation. Wednesday, January 30 serving from 5:00 - 7:00 pm in Renville at Emden CRC. Donations are for the  Building Fund.

Men’s Super Bowl Breakfast!

The Men of Bunde would like to invite you to join us on Saturday, February 2, for “Athletes in Action Super Bowl Breakfast”. This NFL sanctioned event showcases the  inspiring faith testimonies of football greats, Bart Starr and Tony Dungy! Hear from players on both super bowl teams. Come enjoy a light breakfast and fellowship. Breakfast will begin at 8:30 am and the      program will start at 9:00. This   simulcast is free of charge and is intended for all men from 7th grade through adult. Please contact Nate Ammermann or Scott Hankel if you have any questions.
