Welcome to Unity Church!
May you find grace and joy today as you come to this place to worship our Lord and King, Jesus Christ. We are continuing our study of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. For this third session of the Disciples series, our focus for three more weeks is on the truth that those who follow Jesus are a new creation through the work of the Holy Spirit.
Pastor Jeff at Symposium
This week is the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship’s Symposium, which draws hundreds of people, from more than 30 denominations and several countries around the world to Grand Rapids, MI. This year, Pastor Jeff will be one of the many pastors, worship leaders, and specialists who will be presenting at the symposium. He will be speaking on three different panels Thursday, Friday, and Saturday on the topic of worship renewal, with specific focus on the areas of worship space and visual worship that we studied as part of our Worship Grant last year.

Cross-Generational Ministry!
Do you want to share your faith journey with our youth? In the past we have had congregation members tell of life stories that pointed them to Jesus. Our youth really enjoyed having an older member come and honestly share with them. Many of you have had beautiful “God experiences” in your lives and we’d love to hear them. If you think you may be interested in doing this please contact Kirk Vander Pol. And remember, when I say “older” our youth pretty much think of anyone my age and up, so don’t think you have to be over 65 to do this.
Gospel Class Resumes
There is no Gospel Class this week, Thursday or Sunday, since Pastor Jeff will in Michigan. We will return to our study of Reformed Theology on Thursday, Jan. 31 at 7:00pm or Sunday, Feb. 3 at 8:45am. You are always invited to be a part of our discussions, even if you aren’t able to make it every time.
Family Movie Night!
Bring the whole family and join the fun THIS Saturday, January 26 at 7:00pm. The Unity Fellowship Team is hosting a family movie night with “Amazing Grace” as the main feature in the sanctuary for adults and teens, a fun movie for the younger crowd (ages five and up) in another room, and childcare for your preschoolers, toddlers and infants. But leave your $20 concession stand budget at home, because the Fellowship Team will be providing the beverages and popcorn!
Communication Forums at Unity
TODAY after church we are having another brief communication forum for you to receive updates and ask questions about the building project, general fund, or any other aspect of ministry at Unity. The next forum will be February 10 and we plan to offer a few more in March, April, and May. You are strongly encouraged to join us in each of the forums, since we will have updated information at each meeting.

A Day Away for All Ages - Are you looking for an afternoon away to relax and enjoy a few laughs with some friends? A bus trip to the Old Log Theater to see a matinee of an American Play titled “Proposal's” is being planned for Thursday, February 7th. The bus will leave at 9:00am.
