MORNING WORSHIP

Scripture Reading: Excerpts from the Psalms (Scripture Reader: Sue DeGroot)
Message: "Life that is Worship-Full" (Pastor Steve)
Lead Worshipers: Bryan De Groot and Praise Team
Offering: Unity Ministries

Evening Offering: MOPS

Welcome to Unity Church!

All are welcome and invited into the worship-full life of the children of God! May your words and meditations give glory to God, for He is good, and His love endures forever!

We continue in our study of the Old Testament by returning to the Psalms. Life is full of diversity and so are the Psalms. As we study further the nature and types of Psalms, may their vast diversity of praise and prayer fill your heart with the words and songs of worship. May your life be worship-full!

Old Testament Challenge Schedule Change
We are rearranging our look at King Solomon over the next three weeks. Instead of following the schedule for the OTC, we will look at Solomon: His Rise, His Writings, and His Fall. For those following along, switch your fast-track readings for weeks 20 and 21 and your small group discussions for lessons 4 and 5. So this week read 1 Kings 1-3, Proverbs 1, 5-7, 10-11, 24-26, and Psalms 116, 127, 132. Then next week read for Week 20: Song of Songs 1-8, Psalms 45, 65, 128. Week 22 will remain unchanged.

Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort
We are organizing a group of adult volunteers from area churches to lend a helping hand to Hurricane Katrina victims in the Gulfport area of Mississippi. This group will be leaving on Saturday, February 18 and returning Saturday, February 25. We are looking for more volunteers to join in our efforts to bring a ray of hope to a very desperate situation (some of the locals are still living in FEMA tents). We especially welcome volunteers skilled at carpentry, sheet rocking, shingling, and wiring. While we are down there, we plan to build a roof for a church that has been holding weekly services under a tarp. If you are unable to join us on this trip, but are willing to help, we are in great need of supplies, food, and financial support as well. If you have any questions or can help in any way, please contact one of these people: Duane Bonnema, Andy Ypma, or
Doug Zimmer
