Missions Prayer Time Next Week

Palm Sunday, March 16^th

Pastor Paul Mpindi from Back to God Hour Ministries will be presenting the message. A potluck will be held after the service for all members and   visitors. We hope you will join us for lunch and greet Pastor Mpindi.

“Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?”

Due to the positive response to our last “Guess who’s coming to dinner” Sunday, the Fellowship Committee has decided to do it again sometime in April. Watch for more details to come.

Spring Tea

In May, the Fellowship Committee will host a Spring Tea at Unity CRC. Details on this will be made available later.

Spring Cleaning Yet?

Have you started your spring cleaning and noticed that you have some small white plates that do not match your china patterns or  that your spoons do not match any more? You might have some of the church’s. The church is missing quite a few small round plates and spoons. If you have inadvertently taken them could you please bring them back to church as soon as possible. Thank you so much.

Community Announcements

Bunde Annual Soup & Pie Supper

The Bunde Youth Group will be having their annual Soup and Pie Supper on Wednesday, March 5th.  They will be serving from  5:00-7:30pm.  There will be Chili, Vegetable Beef and Broccoli with cheese soups and a variety of  homemade pies.  This is a freewill donation supper that will be sponsoring the youth for a SERVE project this summer. Your support would be greatly appreciated!

Hymn Sing

Emden Christian Reformed Church in Renville is hosting a Hymn Sing on Sunday, March 30 at 6:00 PM. This service of music will include many of the “Old time favorites” that we still continue to enjoy. Gar Jasper and Paul Knapper will lead the singing and provide special music.

How About a Play?

You all enjoyed the “Church Basement Ladies” - last year at the Plymouth Playhouse. They now have a sequel to it. “Church Basement Ladies - Second Helping”. I have arranged for a bus for May 10th. Cost is approximately $60.00 a person. Please call Ardy Zondervan as soon possible for reservations.

**Also if there is enough interest we will attend that Gospel Convention in Minneapolis on May 3rd. Call now to reserve your spot.

Christian Reformed Family Conference

Mark your calendars and PLAN TO ATTEND the Lake Geneva Christian Reformed Family Conference to be held at Alexandria, Minnesota on August 4-7, 2008. Join with us as we celebrate our twenty-fourth year of conferences. Rev. Michael Brandt from Sioux Falls, SD and Rev. Wilbert Van Dyk from Grand Rapids, MI will be the keynote speakers. A concert is scheduled for Wednesday evening. There are scheduled activities for children, preschool though high school age. Watch for a registration announcement in your bulletin at a later date. Bring your family - invite your friends - plan to be challenged and inspired.
