Morning Worship

Scripture Reading: 2 Corinthians 8:1-15 (Scripture Reader: Marge Breems)
Message: “Please Let Us Give: The Abundant Grace of Giving” (Pastor Jeff)
Offering: Unity Ministries
Lead Worshiper: Bryan De Groot

WELCOME TO UNITY CHURCH!

By the grace of God, we come to this place to worship. And by the grace of God, we share our lives with Him and with one another. May you sense this freely given grace of Jesus today.

Today we celebrate Communion! We remember God's ultimate gift to us in Jesus Christ! We invite all who profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to participate with us. We come to the table not based on our unworthiness but on Christ's worthiness as Savior! Come, remember, believe, and celebrate! You are free in Him!

Worship Conference on Saturday
This Saturday, February 17 is our 2007 Worship Conference funded by a grant from the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship through the support of Lilly Endowment, Inc. Everyone is invited to join us Friday Night at 7:00pm for a time of worship and prayer, even if you are not planning to attend the conference. You may also still join us for conference, but we would like to know as soon as possible so we can make sure we have enough food. Go to www.unitycrc.org/conference for all the information.

Unity Family Cares and Concerns

Valentine’s Day “Senior Prom”

The youth group is hosting a “Senior Prom” on Valentine’s Day evening for all those in our congregations who have reached the wise age of 60 years and their spouses or a friend. We are planning a meal, entertainment, and interaction. Punch and hors’dourves will start at 5 p.m., and the meal and “program” will be from 5:30 to 7:30.
PLEASE CALL CHURCH OFFICE BY TUESDAY TO STILL RESERVE A SEAT IF YOU HAVEN’T ALREADY.

Help Kids Praise the Lord!

How about starting your Sunday worship a little earlier? We are currently looking for someone to be a co-director for our Children's Choir. Choirs meet from 8:45-9:15 and 9:30-9:55 on Sunday mornings and are a joy-filled time! Please let Wendy Fisher know if you are interested in serving in this way.

Youth Education Leaders

We are seeking two more people to help coordinate and organize the end-of-year activities and the preparation for next year for our Youth Education Sunday School program. If you have a desire to play a role in transforming the lives of our children, please talk to Rita Ninneman or Chuck Leininger.
