Welcome to Unity Church!
May the peace of Christ rest on each one of you as you come to this place to worship him. He is the Savior – the baby born in a manger so many years ago. He is the one who changed the course of history. And it is our prayer that this day and this Christmas, you will be blessed by the Lord Jesus to receive his peace and be kept in that peace.
Love Fund Offering
Next Sunday is the fifth Sunday of the month, which means that our offering will be for the Love Fund. All undesignated checks and cash will go to help support those in our church and community who are in great financial need.
Baptism
Next week Sunday we will be celebrating God’s sign and seal in baptism to Samuel Adam Zwart, infant son of Pastor Steve & Ang Zwart.
Testimony
As part of our worship celebration next Sunday, Jan Donyes will be sharing her testimony following her near-death, miraculous healing experience of this past year.

Celebrate Christmas This
Tomorrow night at 6:00pm we will have a special Christmas Eve service with great music, a gospel meditation, and the celebration of Communion. On Christmas Day morning, you are invited to a community celebration of Christmas at First Church at 9:30am, with Pastor Steve officiating. Join together this week to give honor and praise for Christ’s coming and the promise of His return!
Pastor Jeff Out of Office
Pastor Jeff and Wendy will be in Iowa Monday through Wednesday to celebrate Christmas with Jeff’s family. He will be back in the office on Friday.
Communication Forums at Unity
Over the next few months we will be holding communication forums for you to receive updates and ask your questions about the building project, the General Fund, and the recent repairs to our existing facility. The first forum will be Today Sunday, December 23rd. We will then offer the next forums on January 6th, January 20th, and February 10th, with future forums also coming in March, April, and May. These forums will start (as close as we can get to) immediately after church on those Sundays. You are strongly encouraged to participate in all of the forums, since there will be new information coming along the way.
Pledge Form Reminder
Please return the pledge forms that you received in the mail by December 30th to Joe Ulferts’ church box. Even if you do not plan to pledge anything, we would still like to have all the forms back by the end of the year. If you have questions, please contact Joe or Roger Ulferts at the contact information provided in the letter you received.
Our Love, Prayers & Sympathy
We express our love and support to Bryan & Sue De Groot, Jill, Jon (Kara), Joe, & Jessica in the loss of mom and grandma, June De Groot, who passed away this past Tuesday. Her funeral was Friday at First Christian Reformed Church of Prinsburg.
SOLID ROCK YOUTH GROUP
Come hang out at the Rock on Friday December 28th (7-12th grades). Food/Fellowship/Games/Movie? Open Rock Night starts at 7:00pm. On New Year’s Eve 9-12th grades are invited to a lock-in at the Rock—bring a snack to share. New Year’s Eve starts at 9:00pm. Wednesday, January 2 - Regular Youth Group Meeting (9-12).
Gospel Class Resumes in January
There is no Gospel Class on Thursdays or Sundays until January 10th and 13th when we will begin a 6-week study of the basics of Reformed Theology.

Nearly every Monday afternoon, the Worship Planning Team meets to plan and evaluate our worship services. If you have any suggestions or ideas for how we can promote an authentic encounter with God through our times of corporate worship, we would be glad to hear them. Your ideas, concerns, and suggestions are very helpful for our work. You may contact any of the members of the team: Tom Bruin, Lee Duininck, Lois Cook, Kerry Breems, and our Pastors.

Sunday School Schedule
Classes for grades 2-12 will resume on January 6.
