Remember in Prayer:

Jordan Zondervan was discharged from Douglas County Hospital in Alexandria on Tuesday.  Lord willing, he will to move to Dordt College this weekend.  He will need a couple of months of therapy on his leg as part of his recovery while

attending school in Sioux Center.

Elva Post had successful outpatient carpal tunnel surgery on Monday and is recovering at home.

Lois Cook had back surgery on Thursday in Alexandria and will be a patient at Douglas County Hospital till about mid-week. Once she returns home, she will wear a body brace around her lower back for several months while recovering.

Virgil Gerdes is experiencing a lot of pain in his hip, back and leg and will be consulting with doctors this week to determine a course of action to bring relief.

Tony Negen continues to wait for a kidney/liver transplant.

We express our love and sympathy to Virgil and Marvis Gerdes in the passing of Marvis' sister-in-law, Angie Gort, this past week.

Please remember these brothers and sisters in Christ and others in our body who need your prayers and would be blessed by your acts of mercy and kindness.

Thank you!

A sincere thank you to everyone for your prayers, visits, and cards while Jordan underwent surgery. Please continue to pray for him as he continues to recover.

Building Project Update

Steady and sure!  Things continue to move forward with our building project.  As you can see, the backfill work is done.  With a lingering delay in the steel arriving, the plumbers and electricians have started some of their work this past week and will continue this week with conduit and PVC work.  By mid-September it is hoped that steel and wood-framing will begin.  Let's continue to give thanks to God for the progress and safety for the workers. Let's also continue to lift up the contractors and the building expansion team in prayer as they oversee this work!  Thank you to everyone for your patience and prayers and support!

Attention Ladies!

You are invited to MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers). MOPS is for all mothers with children from birth through kindergarten.  Come see what's new!  MOPS is a great place to connect with other mothers.  Don't have any preschooler's in your home? Maybe you would still like to get involved with MOPS as a MOPPET worker. It's a ministry with countless rewards!  MOPS meets September - April at Bunde CRC. Childcare is subject to availability. So be among the first to register. Call Becky.

MOPPET workers Needed!

Do you enjoy playing with kids? Do you enjoy rocking babies? The Bunde MOPS are in need of some more childcare workers in the MOPPETS program. MOPS will kick off a new year in September and is the 2nd and 4th Wednesday mornings of each month. If you could not help out each time would you consider being a sub?  Please prayerfully consider if the Lord is calling you to serve in this wonderful

ministry. Please contact Laura Brouwer or Danielle Watson if you are interested in helping out.

Bed and breakfast homes needed

We have musicians arriving from all over the US & Canada who need a host family while they are in the Willmar area. You would need to provide breakfast & a bed. If you're interested in hosting a team member, contact Marcia at CTI

Music Ministries (235-0155) or stop in and visit - we're right across from Roosevelt School on 19th Ave. SW, Willmar.

West Central Christian Singles

For September we have scheduled a cookout/bonfire for September 7th at Gail P's home starting at about 5:30pm. She will be providing the meal, drinks and everything else. If you wish to bring a dish to pass that would be fine. We will have a bonfire with marshmallows.

We are also planning a trip to Redwood Falls on September 21st for a scavenger hunt in the park with a dinner following at a local supper club. We will again use Harry's Corner (junction Hwy 71 and 7) for a meeting point and carpool at 2:00pm. More details to come!
