WELCOME TO UNITY!

We are glad that you are here. The Lord invites us to come together to give him our all in worship.  He has poured himself out for us - in sending his Son Jesus to die for our sins - and in sending his Holy Spirit to transform our lives. May we find our greatest treasure in God as we are reminded of the promises God has given us and as we renew our commitment to love and follow him in everything.

Administrative Report

~ The proposed Budget for our next fiscal year will be prepared this month and presented to the full Council for approval on May 11.  Our annual Congregational meeting to adopt the budget will be held on June 14.

~ We still need to average $7,000 in weekly giving to the General Fund until our fiscal year ends in June.  Please be aware of this need and respond accordingly.

~ Building progress continues. The painters have been busy this past week, the new kitchen cabinets are being installed, and carpenters are finishing up their work in the auditorium.  We expect that the outside brick will be cleaned this month, work will begin on the outside stucco, and the glass entryways will be finished.  At this point it appears that the painting of the existing building by volunteers will be scheduled in late April or more likely early May.  We have a number of volunteer painters, but when the time comes will see if we can get a few more and have one gigantic "painting party".

~ The Administration Board adopted a "Wedding Policy" for our church.  This will be made available to those who ask to be married in our building.
