We are
so glad you are here today! May you be
refreshed in the presence of God this day as you bring Him your worship and
praise! Today is a day of celebration and joy.
Lucky
you! It is the 3rd Sunday and we are delighted to have CTI Music Ministry
at our church this evening! This is the team Gretchen has been traveling
with for the last year. They are excited to bless you with music, drama,
testimony and rich worship. Please come to show them your support as we
worship together and bless them in return with our prayer time and a free-will
offering. They will be available after the concert to visit with and they
have CD's available for purchase. This is a great night for all ages! Plan now

Happy Mothers Day!
We are here today to worship Jesus Christ, our Savior and our King. This day we celebrate as Mother's Day we acknowledge the love and care evident in motherhood. But more importantly, as the Church, we once again seek the fullness of love in God, who showers it upon each and every one of us, no matter what our parental status or relationship to our families. It is only Christ's caring love that supports and inspires us to be who we have been called to be.
Celebration of Communion: This
morning, we will be celebrating the Lord's Supper together. If you have placed
your faith in Jesus, you are welcome and encouraged to participate today.

What is a Mother? A
Mother has so many things to do, from washing, ironing, cleaning, to tying a
shoe. She scrubs, she mends, she cooks and sews, and she bathes the children
and washes their clothes. When they forget to wash their faces clean, and their
clothes are the muddiest you've ever seen, who repairs the clothes and scrubs
them like new? Of course, that is what a Mother will do.
Who
becomes the doctor or the nurse when they are ill, Applying a bandage or giving
them a pill? Who becomes a teacher when a child has homework? She must never
her duty shirk. Who becomes a detective to find a toy or a book? For missing
things she must look and look? Who becomes a listener to every heartache, to
every accomplishment that a child makes? Who scolds their children when they
are naughty, or remind them of God when they are too haughty? Who tends her
family with love and patience, too? Of course that is what a Mother will do. -
