This morning we begin the second phase of the Old Testament Challenge: Stepping Out in Faith. Over the next seven weeks, we will take a journey through the historical books of the Old Testament from Joshua to Chronicles.

St. Cloud Prison Service
A team of people is leading worship this morning and ministering to men in prison at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility. Pray that the Lord would impact lives through the power of his gospel and the service of this team.
Jeff & Wendy Out of the Office
Pastors Jeff and Wendy will be gone Thursday through Tuesday. They are leaving Thanksgiving Day to go to Florida to celebrate Christmas with Wendy’s family. They plan to be in Prinsburg for all of December.
Youth Education Reminder
Next Sunday morning there will not be Sunday School, Children’s Church, or Children’s Choir. Enjoy the time with your families as you celebrate Thanksgiving together.

Christmas Program This year we will have two shows of our Christmas Program celebration. You are invited to attend either on Saturday, December 17 at 7:00pm or on Sunday, December 18 at 5:00pm. Everyone is welcome!5th–6th Grade Sunday School Teacher NEEDED!
We are looking for a teacher to finish out the semester or to complete the full Sunday School year. If you are interested in serving in this way, contact Rita or Chuck L.

Baby Bottle Boomerang
If you were not here when we gave out baby bottles to fill with change to help support Hope Pregnancy Center, there are still some available in the church office. For those of you filling your bottles, please remember to return them to us by December 4.
COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS
Sixth Annual Community Christmas Carol at First CRC Sunday November 27 at 7:00pm All members of area churches are cordially invited to attend an evening of congregational singing and performances of Advent and Christmas Carols and music of the season. The evening worship service will be incorporated into the program. Featured performers will include an ensemble and soloists from the Prairie Arts Chorale. Following the program, we will enjoy a time of refreshments and fellowship.CMCS Parents Club Meeting
Tuesday, November 29
We will convene for a short meeting between the junior varsity and the varsity basketball game in the Music Room to vote on funding items with the proceeds from the 2005 Harvest Festival: teaching supplies for the elementary teachers ($1,050), a freezer ($6,000), 5th & 6th Grade Science Camp ($2,000), and High School restroom stalls ($5,000). We will also vote on funding the replacement of classroom doors in older elementary school ($10,000) with the proceeds from the 2006 Host and Hostess Supper. We will also take nominations for Vice President and Treasurer for the following school year.
2005 Advent Festival
Calvary Lutheran Church of Willmar extends a warm invitation to attend its Advent Festival Open House on December 2-4. Hours are 1-9pm on Friday, 10-7pm on Saturday and 1-5pm on Sunday. This year’s theme, “Repeat the Sounding Joy,” is a look at Christmas through music
CMCS Christmas Program Friday December 2 at 7:00pm
Central Minnesota Christian School students in grades 5-8 will present: A Gift of Christmas Music on Friday night, December 2 at 7:00pm in the high school gym. Included in this program are well-known and special vocal Christmas numbers from the 5th and 6th grade choirs and junior high boys and girls choirs. The 5th and 6th grade bands and the junior high band will also share several Christmas selections.
Senior Citizens Advance Notice
On Wednesday January 18 the Seniors will attend the play “The Church Basement Ladies”—a comedy at the Plymouth Playhouse. We do need reservations for this as it is a sell-out every time! Cost should run about $40.00 per person. There will be more details later. Please call Ardy or Marilyn to reserve your place.
